Spirit Life Ministries is a Bible based ministry preaching the Kingdom of God and building the body of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, for practical Christ-like lifestyle to passionately pursue God’s Presence and His purpose.
At Spirit Life Ministries we believe in building people, based on sincere relationships that flow out of our love for God. As friends, in Christ, we have a united cause for spreading the gospel in partnership, and for showing love for one another by which others will know that we are Jesus’ disciples. It is through a unified effort of combining our resources, time and energy, both physically and spiritually, that makes spreading the gospel of the Kingdom possible.
Because God looks on the condition of our hearts, we base the Ministry’s value on the quality of our relationships and the power of God at work in us, not on the size or material value of it. We would simply like to be obedient to fulfill the calling we have from Christ, as we are led by the Holy Spirit.
God has displayed all the signs of an apostolic-prophetic ministry through the ministry’s leadership and various members, including miracles; healings; signs and wonders; casting out of demons and other operations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the whole Word of God, fully revealed in the person of Jesus Christ, and that Pentecost was not intended as a single event, but as the precursor and foundation of God’s intentions for all believers who seek the manifested presence and glory of God through faith in Jesus Christ and fellowship of the Holy Spirit; and all the glory goes to God.
We pray that you will find this ministry to be God-centred, not man-centred, and that your interaction with us will be an experience of the highest integrity and character, fashioned after Christ, as we seek to be diligent in serving with clean hands and pure hearts, and being sincere worshippers of God in spirit and in truth.
We pray that you will therefore experience God with us as we seek to be a blessing to Him and you.
VISION STATEMENT OF SPIRIT LIFE MINISTRIES:
“To passionately pursue God’s presence and His purpose”
- Ministry No. 1 – Save the lost (Mark 16:15&16)
- Ministry No. 2 – Make disciples (Matthew 28:19&20)
- Ministry No. 3 – Heal the sick (Mark 16:18)
- Ministry No. 4 – Cast out demons (Mark 16:17)
- Ministry No. 5 – Outreach to Orphans (James 1:27)
- Ministry No. 6 – Outreach to Widows (James 1:27)
James Ch.1 vs.27 (Amplified Bible) says, “External religious worship (religion as it is expressed in outward acts) that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need,…”
- Ministry No. 7 – Outreach to the Poor (James 2:15&17)
James Ch.2 vs. 15-17 (Amplified Bible) says, “If a brother or sister is poorly clad and lacks food for each day, and one of you says to him, Good-bye! Keep (yourself) warm and well fed, without giving him the necessities for the body, what good does that do? So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).”. We intend to improve our faith by adding to our good works.
- Ministry No. 8 – Outreach to those Suffering and in need (Luke 10:36&37)
This can be both spiritual and physical, emotional or practical.
- Ministry No. 9 – Outreach to hospitals & prisons (Matthew 25:34-40)
Matthew Ch.25 vs. 34-40 Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favoured of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.
- Ministry No. 10 – Education (2 Timothy 2:15)
2 Timothy Ch.2 vs.15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved, a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
Education has always been a primary objective in order to achieve a better understanding of life, and success. Minimum standards of a caring environment help to provide an atmosphere where hope grows & learning is therefore encouraged. But the essential part of producing students of great value is not found in natural forms of education. Spiritual education provides the internal value system and moral fibre by which people can truly become an asset to any society and, more importantly, to God. These moral values are sadly lacking in today’s modern “I, me & myself” mindset. We need to become more focused on obtaining the knowledge of God over the knowledge of earthly things seeing that it was God who made the very same physical things that keep the earth in existence. No God, no life… know God, know life.
NB: Our intention is to encourage the Biblical requirement, for every believer in Jesus Christ, to be in fellowship as an active part of His Body, prioritizing God in all things and having compassion and love for their “neighbour”, regardless of race or culture. SLM’s essential role is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
